Christmas Day!

This was our first Christmas at home without visiting Grandparents.  We opened stockings first, had cinnamon rolls, bacon, sausage & eggs & then opened the rest of our presents.  Santa took the kids on a treasure hunt throughout the house, finally ending in the upstairs linen closet with two wardrobes for their new American Girl dolls that we got them.  After breakfast we went to Christmas service at LifeBridge and then came home to play with our presents.  

Santa loot! The main gifts from Santa this year were Kachooz! for Lana & a Dippin' Dots machine for Janae - guess they were good this year since they both got what they asked for!

After opening some of their presents.  These are the Lego sets that Great Grandaddy got for the girls.

We went over to The Schmanke house for dinner and presents.  My girls got clothes for their American Girl dolls.  

We got Nolan a some dinosaurs that roar & talk from the Dinosaur Train show (on PBS).  

We got Maya a set of Barbie dolls.  She looks pretty happy doesn't she?  :)

I made banana cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for dessert & we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.  Maya was ready to blow out the candles even before we started singing.  

The kids were playing in the sink upstairs & Kevin snuck this picture.  Aren't they cute?!
