Nutcracker Tea Party

Legacy School of the Arts (where my girls take dance classes) put on a Nutcracker Tea Party at the Ritz Charles.  Kristy (our neighbor) decided to take her daughter Haley (4) to see it & so we decided to join them along with Anne (next-door neighbor) & her daughter, Maddie (6).  The first part of the 2 hours was spent eating finger sandwiches & drinking punch out of glass wine goblets.  While we were eating, the performers walked around and let you take photos with them.  We got to see mice & the tin soldier & all sorts of sugarplum fairies!  The second hour, they put on a shortened version of The Nutcracker Ballet for the kids.
