Janae's 6th birthday

My baby turned 6 on October 29th.  I put crepe paper streamers across her doorway so when she woke up she'd have to break through.

Here is Janae... NOT breaking through.
Once I told her she was supposed to break through the streamers, she crawled back under & ran through!
Then she proceeded to take everything off the door frame.

We started the day out with our traditional donut (and scrambled eggs) for breakfast with a few presents to start the day out right.
She opened a bunch of Lalaloopsy minis.
All ready to celebrate at school!
Here is Janae helping me decorate the sugar cookies for school.  She wanted pink "J"s with purple sprinkles for the girls & green "J"s with blue sprinkles for the boys.
She also wanted blue butterflies with green sprinkles for the boys & purple butterflies with pink sprinkles for the girls.  Don't know where she gets this particularness...

The birthday girl!

Janae's birthday party this year was at Matt Ross Community Center - they have an indoor pool so the kids got to go swimming in November.

I made a Lalaloopsy cake for Janae's birthday - the toppers (dolls) were a surprise to her.

The kids kept asking Kevin to go into the hot tub - you had to be accompanied by an adult.  He did it twice at set times so the kids kept asking what time it was - he was one popular guy.
Janae's big gift from us was her Lalaloopsy Mermaid doll - I searched & found the mini version in a set on ebay for her cake.  It came with various fairy tale Lalaloopsy dolls.
