Dill Christmas - Dec 18th

Heather & Ryan are traveling to Cancun with Heather's parents this year for Christmas, so we celebrated Christmas early with Kevin's family.  Heather's parents & Grandfather were also able to join us as well as Jessica's parents.

The kids opening their presents.  We tried to take turns this year & that didn't last very long...

For Elaine's Christmas present, we decided to dedicate a weekend to cleaning & organizing her basement so it works better as a sewing room (instead of a basement with a sewing machine).  We created labels & put them inside of mason jars.

Here's a copy of the note Elaine opened before opening the mason jars.

Her box had 6 mason jars that were each labeled with a different colored shirt & "kid's" elbow grease.

Here she is unwrapping each jar.  :)

Patti Sexton got the boys these reindeer Santa hats that light up & blink as well as Rudolph noses that blink.

The girls were given these hats that sing "Deck the Halls" & the tops of the hats dance back & forth to the beat of the tune.

Here is the festive group. :)

Janae & Evalyn got matching outfits from Heather & Ryan.

Patti & Mike also got the girls this ice cream maker - you fill it up with ice & rock salt on one end & then the ice cream fixings on the other side & then roll it around for 45 minutes.  Surprisingly they lasted the whole time & made some pretty yummy ice cream.
