Girl Scouts - Colors of the Rainbow Fair

Lana's Girl Scout troop had a booth at the local "Colors of the Rainbow Fair".  Every troop in their service unit was asked to participate & had to pick 1 or 2 colors to represent the troop.  They they were asked to make things to sell at the fair that were in the colors they chose.  Everything they made was to be sold for 25 cents - $1.00.

They started the fair out with a parade where each Troop sent up a representative to show off the sign that we made. Mary (the troop leader's daughter) took ours up there.  (She's in the front, just to the right of the tie dye girl - all the girls put their handprints on it).

One of our items we made & sold were Earth Day Pins (painted wooden earths).

The other thing our troop made were friendship bracelets in our colors: blue & green.

The girls were told to bring $5 in quarters to spend on the fair.  Lana spend 50 cents to get her face painted.

She requested to be a puppy.

Here is Lana, manning our booth.
