Jenny Doty, the city's Park Naturalist (who also teaches the Young Explorer classes my kids enjoy) brought all the flowers & gave the girls a lesson in how to plant the flowers.
Each pair of girls was given a diamond they were in charge of & we had enough adults for each pair of girls. We had to replant quite a few of the flowers & show the girls over & over to dig deeply, but most of the girls (including Lana) took the directions and ran with them. (Hopefully that means that Lana won't get her Mom & Dad's brown thumbs).

In Girl Scouts, Daisies are K-1st grade & Brownies are 2nd-3rd grade. So after the girls had their last Daisy meeting of the year, they had a bridging ceremony to move from Daisies to Brownies.
Here is Lana in her Daisy tunic saying the Girl Scout Pledge.
They are given a daisy & then they walked across a bridge & dropped the daisy into the creek below.
An older troop helped them put on their new brownie sashes & handed them baggies with brownies in them to symbolize their new status.
