We are really lucky to have such great neighbors. Today one of the neighborhood moms decided to throw a Princess Tea Party for the preschool girls. We were told to have them dress in their very best princess dress (turns out we only have one) and get all dolled up.
Janae picked purple dress-up shoes to match her purple princess dress and we found some white gloves and of course a tiara and wand. I even let her put on a little of Mommy's lip gloss.
Here are the girls are ready for their tea party. Vivian, Janae & Haley (the hostess). Kristy (Haley's mom) played waitress and had the tea party all set up in Haley's room.
Kristy had strawberries, crackers with heart shaped cheese slices on them and "tea" (lemonade I think) for the girls. They got to eat off of real china from a set that Kristy inherited from her Great Aunt (it had little cappuccino cups & saucers). Kristy even had classical music playing in the background for ambiance. She also said they were having cupcakes for dessert. And the best part - while the kids were having the tea party, the other 2 moms were at home, relaxing. See - don't I have great neighbors? :)
