Janae gets her ears pierced!

Janae has been asking for a long time (almost as long as Lana has had her ears pierced) if she could get hers pierced.  Jessica started mentioning that Evalyn was going to get hers pierced before the wedding so we thought it might be fun for them to get them done together.  We met at Claire's at the mall (where Lana got hers done).  She changed her mind several times on which earrings she wanted - but finally settled on simple pink diamonds (her birthstone is - opal or pink tourmaline).

After!  She said it hurt for a second & then it was okay.

She didn't cry - but you could tell that if we all hadn't been there (or if Janae had cried) - she might've.  Jessica said that when they were walking to their car, she tripped getting into the car & she started to bawl.  Jess thinks it was residual from the emotion of getting her ears pierced.  She was trying to be brave for everyone.
