Weekend at Millie & Skeeter's Lakehouse

 Every year for the last 4 years we've gone to Millie & Skeeter's Lakehouse (Hugh's sister & brother-in-law) with the whole family.  This year instead of M&S's daughter, son-in-law & their boys joining us, we were joined by their other grandkids who were visiting from Colorado.  Samantha (7) & Willow (4).

 Aunt Heather put the kids to work.  She said if they helped her make the fruit salad then they could eat some!

 Using ice cream scoops for the water melon.  I think Willow ate more than she contributed to the salad!

 Lana was scared of riding too fast on the Big Mable. When Kevin asked her "Why?", she said it was cause she was scared of falling in.  So we planned a pretend "fall" & Skeeter told her when it was okay to jump into the water.  Then we went back & picked her up.

After that - we were able to take them at full speed!

 The rest of the girls (minus Willow) took a ride!  Big "thumbs up"s from the girls!  (Thumbs up means "faster!")

The lake is down at least 2 feet this year from the drought.  Thought this was a funny site - wouldn't want to go down this slide!
