Raising 'em Right

Lana has been learning about Kansas for the past few weeks.  Here is one of the things that got sent home in her backpack today (I should preface this with the fact that Lana's teacher is a KU fan & she "heckles" Lana a bit about being a Wildcat - Lana likes the attention. :)

In case you can't decifer Kindergarten spelling... Lana has labeled the Jayhawk as ugly (ugile) & when her teacher wrote "Uglier! Ha!" next to the Wildcat, Lana crossed it out in purple.  I also like the addition of teeth to the powercat.  ;-)  We are raising them right!

As a side note:  Today Lana had her 100 party (100 days in school) and she was so excited.  She told me she wanted to dress in her prettiest outfit.  Next thing you know, she's in my room with her K-State shirt on.  :)  That's my girl!
