I realized I never shared pictures of Lana's actual birthday. She had school that day & Kevin made her homemade caramel pecan rolls for breakfast.
The birthday girl! She asked if she could wear this hat to school, we thought it might be a tad distracting. :)
Lana picked Red Robin for her birthday dinner. The Schmanke clan joined us to celebrate.

These hermit crabs were the first on the list of things to get with birthday money. She had been asking for them since our neighbor, Maddie got one for her 1/2 birthday in July. Janae was saving her allowance & got one too. The green one was Kevin's & mine - he was 1/2 price cause he didn't have any pinchers so probably wouldn't last long. Lana's was the purple one with a sword - originally named Hero. Lana also bought the purple "Coco Hut".
Here is our crab set-up. You have to get extra shells so they can move into a larger shell eventually.
Janae's crab. He didn't last long - maybe a week or so. So Janae inherited the green shelled crab with the butterfly on it (which was her first pick anyway).
